Complete design and refurbishment work of an 88 m2 property next to Adrassy Avenue.
This city centre apartment was converted for our clients – a young Norwegian-Maltese couple – in Szofia street, next to Andrássy Avenue. The apartment reflects the mentality of the owners: northern precision spiced with southern playfulness. Facing the street, a bright, generous living-dining area has been created, with the emphasis on the over 100 year old building details, and the individually selected design furniture. Extending the doorway between the living room and the courtyard rooms, a new kitchen was created, serving as a starting point for the baths and bedrooms behind the hidden doors. The larger bedroom is complemented by a new en-suite bathroom, and has a full-height wardrobe cabinet, custom-made beds, and shows the original plaster details of the wall above the bed. In the smaller bedroom the original brick walls were kept, and this space has been extended with a new gallery above the newly designed bath.
